My daughter's teacher is an angel. It didn't take me long to realize that those who CHOOSE to work with individuals with special needs,.... are angels. They CHOOSE to take on the kid's daily struggles, they CHOOSE to deal with their physical needs, they CHOOSE to spent countless hours on a simple lesson,... that never comes simply,.... they CHOOSE to love unconditionally. For this, our family is so very greatful for the choice that Mrs. Mancillas made to teach and love our daughter. To celebrate her special day, we made a present cake with her favorite color, green, and added a hand sculpted fondant bow. I used a neat rolling pin that gives it a "fabric" look. I also added silver dragees for a little sparkle on the design. Happy Birthday Mrs. M!
