ARRRRRrrrrr..... Time to party! The mother of this birthday boy sent me a picture they wanted recreated. I took the liberty of adding a few creative touches to make it all his own. The cake is completely covered in individually cut out pieces of fondant, with dozens of little fondant Lego "nubs" on top to give a realistic look. I had no idea just how long it would take to place each individual "Lego", but let me tell you, it was worth the overall look. The characters are plastic toys, provided by the mother. My favorite part is the use of the fondant "rope" as the "O" in Harrison's name. It ties it all in perfectly. Happy 7th Birthday!
