I don't know who was more excited about this cake, me or cute little Caitlyn! She loves wolves and can't wait for the new movie, Alpha and Omega, to be released in Septemeber. I took my inspiration from the trailers online. The trees are handmade from fondant, along with the moon and wolf "Katie" from the movie. The other members of the pack are plastic figures. I added chocolate candy rocks around the waterfall to finish off the look. Being over 7 single layers high, this cake surely makes a statement,.... Happy Birthday Caitlyn!
Thank you so much! Wow - this was the most amazing cake and it tasted soooo good. I bet all the kids at the party will see that movie and crave cake :) p.s. my 3 yr old son has been carrying around the wolf figurines since we cut the cake. Everybody loved it!
